One thing I know everyone loves to do is blast the radio with the windows down. Really, who doesn't love music?

I just got into music some production and this is the first tune I have completed. Have had a limited audience as of late, but I wanted to post this up and see what people thought.

Yeah, wanted to keep it exclusive on Soundcloud for now, but will definitely open it open for downloads in the future.

Your stuff is great! Takes a lot of talent to put together that intricate.

Thanks. I'm actually more into dubstep and tech house but havent gotten that far yet

Yeah, I have the Ableton Suite. Just purchased some monitors and an AKAI MPK-25 midi controller, so hopefully that will help make things a little easier.

Starting to watch tutorials on sonicacademy.com. Definitely some good stuff.

Yea tech and prog house is my shit too with some dstep thrown in for good measure...would like to delve into the production side of things but I think my mind works better from a dj perspective. Either way keep it and keep us posted

Looking back on some of these tunes is always funny. You get to see how much progress was made from the beginning. There is a lot that goes into sound engineering. I had no idea about compression, limiting, reverb and other aspects that went into creating a crisp, clean master.

Composition is also tough to get down "on paper".

Here is something that was done a few years ago, still leaps ahead of what was posted. I haven't produced since 2013:
