Who loves hummus?
It's a recent discovery for me, and I LOVE it. Can't stop eating it. WTF??? Just doing Trader Joe's right now...Anyone have any suggestions on where to try next?

I just had roasted garlic for the first time, and it's fucking awesome. The fat it has is the "good" fat, if that means anything. I have read that garbonzo beans or chic peas are a superfood, and it's way better than the other BS I like to snack on. Roasted red pepper is yummy too. Brian, it goes great with beer...

TJs hummus is really good and +1 on Tribe.
I personally prefer the smoother ones. Original/Regular is the best IMO, the "flavored" ones just don't do it for me. I actually saw on MSN today that you can substitute mayo for hummus on a sandwich and save some calories... |

hummus is yum. Fresh is better than what you'll find at TJs though.

Tribe is good, especially the "40 spices" flavor, but then again I love spicy food. I think Sabra brand is a bit better as far as mass market hummus goes, but I haven't found any of their flavors to be as spicy as tribe. I made my own a couple times by crushing chickpeas and it wasn't that bad though it's a little annoying to get it the right consistency with a little ass mortar and pestle, I feel like an alchemist making some impossible potion or some shit. Though it's cheap if you raid a restaurant with an all you can eat salad bar and bring a big ziploc bag :P
