Westside LA Mechanic

Hello, my maintenance plan just ended and I'm looking for a reliable and reasonable mechanic in the Westside (Culver City, Santa Monica, Marina Del Rey, Venice). I'd love to hear any suggestions.

While we're at it. I'll be replacing the rear brakes next week. Any thoughts on getting it done through an indy as opposed to the dealer? A mechanic (which seemed shady) quoted me $250 for pads and rotors where the dealer quoted me $980. There's obviously a discrepancy there worth noting. Thanks everyone, this forum has invaluable info. Much appreciated.

Hit up AutoTalent. They're located on Sepulveda south of Santa Monica.
