it won't cause him any trouble i suspect. i'm not a professional 'industry insider' like mike, but unless he admitted killing someone, it's unlikely that much will come of it. it was fun though

i haven't had that kind of OT fun in years. DWI is one of those things that you either have to nail em right away or not at all. if they really wanted to get him, they would have had to breathalyzer him/give him a chance to refuse. sounds like the cops didn't want to do that paperwork for an iffy case, although i think OP was a little more drunk than 'a few beers'.

Nothing will happen, stop freaking out. No DUI was issued and it seemed that the officers at the scene were under the belief that Mighty M was guilty of no criminal wrongdoing. It's going to be hard to prove that wrong after the fact, even given a little internet boasting.

slightly OT

but randomly like an hour after reading that thread, my co-worker told me her friend died last via drunk driver. pretty sad story. she said they just had dinner at maestros or something and were just talking about going to vegas or some trip soon. think this was her friend's husband, just married last october. there was an accident on the freeway and their car stopped, but the drunk driver behind them didn't stop and plowed through their car. backseat passengers (husband and a friend) were instantly killed and a couple in the front were threw out the front windshield, not sure their condition. the wife was in another car so she's still alive. keeps blaming herself for going to maestros and taking different cars. drunk driving man.... ends lives. destroys dreams. sorry for the shitty job narrating the story. details are a bit rough because i'm not sure exactly what happened, only happened last night.
