BimmerFile Interviews Dr. Kay Segler at the 2011 NAIAS

This is really neat. The guys over at BimmerFile have scored an interview with BMW M Director and BMW 1M brainchild, Dr. Kay Segler. The interview took place during the 2011 NAIAS in Detroit.

The interview itself is about 6 and a half minutes long and touches heavily upon the important M topics of the day, that is to say the BMW 1M and the upcoming F10 M5.

Dr. Segler's usual excitement for the brand comes across in this interview, especially his excitement for the 1M as not only a car for young enthusiasts and most importantly as a car that is "M Pure". He goes as far as to say, "you will never get out of the car, I guarantee". Dr. Segler makes a point to mention that you cannot lie to customers, he is a man to be taken at his word, and promises the 1M will become a collector's car. This is just the surface of the interview, make sure to listen to the entire interview.

That's really weird, it says Safari cannot connect to server
