When is the release date for iPhone5?
Does anyone know? My contract from TMobile is ending this month and I want to go with AT&T (iPhone4) now.
Thanks much! J- |

Old iphone. Dont get the verizon one till summer or you'll be stuck in a 2 year contract with the old phone when the new one comes out in a few months.

I'm really on the fence about getting the 4.
I love my Droid X and don't want to give in to the hype of the 4, but with everyone finally being on FaceTime it might be worth it. I just hate the idea of spending so much out of pocket... Discuss.

I think im going to wait until July and get the 4GS(if thats what it is called), and let everyone get the 4, and give Verizon time to make sure the network can handle it

But the second that the Verizon iPhone is confirmed I will most likely order it and then put up my Inc on eBay. I like Android, but the quality of the iPhone and the amount of accessories are available for it just can't be beat. Plus, I have a Macbook an iPad, and an iPod already - it would be nice to have some consistency over all those devices. |

Idk what the big deal is about AT&T. I almost never drop calls, unless I go into the underground parking garage (and I still can get calls there sometimes).

Yeah, it depends on the area and the relative load of use on the network. In the DC area, I could never continue a call from my office in downtown DC to my home in Northern VA (a 15 minute drive) without it dropping at least twice. I knew exactly where the calls would drop off, too.

Just watched the liveblog on Engadget. Pretty cool.
On a side note, one of the things that I love about my Incredible is that it can serve as a wi-fi hotspot for up to five devices - which really comes in handy when I'm travelling for work and don't want to pay for wi-fi at the airport/hotel, etc. That was really one of the major hang ups I had about possibly getting the Verizon iPhone - but now they announced it will be able to serve as a wi-fi hotspot just like the other Droid phones. Pretty cool... http://www.engadget.com/2011/01/11/v...obile-hotspot/ |
