west la free coding for...
So i have a service engine soon light and a procede v4 waiting to install. However i have my car due for a oil and brake fluid change this weekend. I really want to avoid having to install my proceed before the service just to read the codes. If someone in west LA can read my codes for me with a BT tool i will return the favor for coding their cars with any of the options below
side marker delete (both led and turn signal bulb) various bulb check disable ( all front and rears bulbs ) auto key eject remote window/mirror folding seat belt gong door gong fog light when high beam on digital speedo digital mpg auto door unlock when removal of key starting with out brake depress auto close sunroof with rain sensor navi disclaimer disable alarm activation and a few others. if you can please email me asap as i'd like to get this done before friday. thanks jonlerd@gmail.com |

Jon, hit up EAS. They were doing free code clearing a while back: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=444886
Edit: Just checked their website, they're still doing it!

There is a guide. All you need is a $120 cable and common sense ability to follow directions. Anybody who can use a forum can do it. All the hard work has been done for us.
To the vendors who followed the guide and then charge their customers $100 or whatever to code: shame on them...profiting off the community like this. Reasonable labor ok...but this is just wrong. Once I get my cable I hope to change this. Last edited by AoshichanX; 01-18-2011 at 03:49 PM.. |

@ Charles...i should be attempting to code my friends car this weekend. His car is a 1/2007 build which is a K-Can car. If the cable modification works then i should be able to code your car soon after. Sorry for the delay! -Jon |
