VBOX Numbers on 14.5psi with New Procede maps

Here is a run that I did last night. I couldn't reach 130mph as my max was 125.6mph before having to slow down. What do you think?

You should do pulls from 60-130 mph. 0 to are worthless. There is much more to compaire from 60 since thats what everybody uses.

Although you have a good 0-60 time of 4.5 seconds, showing a decent launch, your 0-100 time should probably be quicker than 11 seconds.

How do your tires compare to the stock runflats?

On the stock RFTs, full weight my JBD 335d does:
0-60 4.6 seconds, 0-100 11.4 seconds

On stock RFTs, full weight, 91 oct. JB4/DCI, my 335 does:
0-60 4.4 seconds, 0-100: 10.4 seconds.

Stock, I get around 12.5 seconds 0-100.

Here are the 3 screen shots: JBD/JB4/Stock

Ah...nevermind...you have a IX, that is about as heavy as my diesel, LOL.

Technically speaking, your vbox runs on the new maps are worse than you did before....

Maybe we should wait until the maps are done and publicly released first?

I'm running my runflats now because of the winter here. My non runflats staggered summer bridgestone RE-11 are much better.

On the stock RFTs, full weight my JBD 335d does:
0-60 4.6 seconds, 0-100 11.4 seconds

On the stock RFTs, full weight my Procede 335xi does:
0-60 4.5 seconds, 0-100 11.0 seconds

Well I had a little more weight cause of an additional 30 lbs in trunk and I'm running on the stock runflats continentals all seasons, nothing compare with the Bridgestones RE-11 Extreme Summers. Also as Shiv mention, maps are still in beta.

Remember too that Hotrod really is out of the norm when it comes to performance.
I've stopped comparing his times a while back lol.

Here is the Racelogic software...

Notice the difference running the same amount of boost:
0-10 = .3s faster
0-20 = .2s faster
0-30 = .2s faster
0-40 = unchanged
0-50 = unchanged
0-60 = unchanged
0-70 = .2s faster
0-80 = .3s faster
0-90 = .5s faster
0-100= 1.1s faster

So these maps definite improved the 0-30mph and 70-100mph.
Shiv, is there a way to improve the 30-70mph?

Yeah there is an easy way. Get an ic and dps... Also you can set up in the box to show predefined times. Set for example 60-90 and 60-130 so that those are displayed in the vbox screen
Use then those 2 only to see how fast the car is. 0 to times are useless as there are too many variable involed and its not good for the car anyway.
When you start seeing constant results over and over you have reached your car limits depending on the mods.

It's obvious that the new maps are faster on the same boost. But it's nice to have the difference quantified. A whole second faster 0-100 is huge.

Nice to see that you got it worked out.

Interestingly enough, your initial 4.5 sec 0-60mph and 11.0 0-100mph were identical to my 335d numbers from this morning. 66F temps. And I am only trapping 108mph. So I think its safe to say you were running far from optimum during the initial test results.

Of course if I install ic or dps it will effect my times, as well with either maps. I'm trying to figure out how were the low and high #'s runs effective positively but not the middle range from 30-70mph with or without mods.

Yes they are faster. I'm just hoping it gets better in the mid range runs.

Wow, very interesting to see it run the same as my first initial run. I was running 1-13 beta maps at the time with temp of 34F. This time I was running 1-21 beta maps with temp of 31F. Both were run on the same private road and the same time at night.

What tune are you running and what boost?

On the diesel I am just running the JBD. Fuel enhancement only. Doesn't touch boost. I am hoping to run a 12.8 and break the diesel record next month!

On a side note...averaged 43.5mpg back from the Laker game last Friday!
