Calibration update for BMW AccessPORT
We have just released revised Off The Shelf Calibrations for BMW AccessPORTs. All BMW calibrations are now at v101. These latest map revisions feature improved boost control tuning in the higher RPM range. These new maps are available for download on our BMW AccessPORT Pages under "calibrations".
Please contact COBB Tuning at tech@cobbtuning.com or at 1-866-922-3059 for further information or questions. Also, be sure to read our updated map notes for additional information. |

If you download the latest software, you will have the latest maps. However, if the AccessPORT was installed prior to updating the firmware, that means a v100 map is on the ECU. To install the v101 map, you'll need to use the Change Map feature.
FYI...this was a small adjustment to better control boost in the upper rev band. This is not a remapping to address the concerns of boost overshoot. Thanks, Gary |

I will run lower boost than a stock car because with my mods it takes less boost to hit the target load. Its not even 13 to be honest, it peaked at like 13.3 for a second, then it was most 12s falling to 11

Definitely ATR is where it's at. It'd be cool if you can keep your Procede, let it autotune to wherever it's happy, then try the ATR and see if you can better power at the same 'happiness'.

I didn't see this question addressed in the FAQ or other threads....is there a 15 day trial period with the Cobb AP or ATR? In other words can we return it within the first 15 days for a refund?
The worry of people installing the new tune on the car (and returning but keeping the tune) can easily be overcome by adding X number of times the engine can be started before having to be flashed back.. |

We offer a 30 Day Satisfaction Guarantee. There are a lot of features on the AccessPORT and we want to make sure you've had plenty of time to explore the performance and functionality of the AccessPORT. If you are happy with it, keep it. If not, uninstall the AccessPORT and return it in an unmarried state. Thanks, Gary |
