Which socal dealers installing -446 fuel pump for recall?

Who's got their HPFP fuel pumps replaced recently at any socal dealerships?

I need to know if you got the 933 or 446 fuel pump. I'm going to bring my car in for the scheduled recall and would prefer they put in the latest and greatest 446 pump and not the remanufactured 933.

HPFP - Encinitas BMW

Encinitas BMW replaced my OEM with another 933 3 months ago. It recently went out about two weeks ago again and they then replaced it with the 446.

I was able to get the car qualified as a Lemon since its been through 3 pumps!

Getting back all the money I paid so far... Squeaky wheel apparently gets greased with BMW NA (had tons of other issues but the HPFP is what qualified for Lemon)

PM me if your interested in more details on the case

i called Shelly bMW today and they said they are replacing them with -446 part. They transferred me to the parts department for verification.

but i wonder if Long Beach or Crevier is doing -446.

you should be able to go to any BMW dealership and have this taken care of, to be safe def call ahead of time and make sure they have the part in stock and ready for install.

Pacific BMW in Glendale replaced mine with the -446.

Also, 1 injector was replaced.

And they said they updated the software, but it doesn't show that in the paperwork...?

my dealer, crevier just called me to bring my car in for the fuel pump, computer upgrade and fuel injectors recall. question is, my car is flashed with giac flash stage 1, would it be ideal for me to flash it back to stock before i bring it into the dealer? for those who had their fuel pump and computer upgrade, did you feel in difference in the car? any SA's at creview that are mod friendly at crevier? thanks!
