Looks like the 335i lost out big time. I still like the feel of BMW over any Audi, although the A5 looks quite appealing. Can't go wrong with either car in my opinion.

Look remarkably similar outside.. I appreciate the cockpit feel of the A5 interior... all in all, I think the A5 wins in looks. But I think you can't beat BMW with an Audi. No matter WHAT Audi. I'll always take the BMW.

It's all about the drive to me, not just the looks.

this is probably the reason why the A5 is leading the poll

Take with a grain of salt... You're reading from an Audi forum. Brand loyalty counts for a lot!

ok, someone help me understand this. The A5 will be offered with a 3.2L V6? That's it? Isn't this engine more of a competitor to the 328i? The A4 3.2L V6 has the same performance numbers as the 328i.

Question is, where's the competitor to the 335 coupe? The S5? Well, I'm sure it will be a lot more expensive.

A little weird lineup from Audi if you ask me. Unless I'm missing something.

Damn, that A5 looks awesome. Audi's are more rare than BMW's in LA so that would have been a big draw for me. But from the sounds of it, the A5's engine won't be able to compete with the 335. That's weird for Audi to drop the ball on a new model by underpowering it.

I doubt the Audi could perform like the 335 anyway. Still, nice looking car.

i don't think they are in direct competition.

from what i've read, the A5 is the same size as an A6, so it's going to be a lot bigger than the e92

S5 would have to be more expensive than the S4 but will probably have the same engine.

I just don't feel that sentiment with an Audi, it's just... too much VW'ish
