My jb4/ect review

So I know plenty of People have written up new threads on their jb4 review, but I thought I'd throw my .02 in there too. Sorry.

Over the past two weeks I've gone from just a jb3 and dci to jb4 dps and cxracing DIY intercooler- I can easily say that my car before on race gas (ran a 12.6) is what my car feels like NOW on pump gas... Which is no bueno .... I'm too tempted to "romp" on the car even more now! Haha,

All in all, the Jb4 is outright fun... Smoother IMO.. turbos seem louder too? The gauge features are mucho cool to show off >=)... Played on map 1 and 2.. They both pull insane..(for me)

Can't really give input on outright power gains of the Jb4 cause I installed my Jb4 with my dOwnpipes, so there was a good power gain because of both.
Then today I just installed my intercooler (was kind of a pita, but very do-able
Nonetheless)... Gonna sleep better tonight knowing all my intercooler pipes/everything else is clean and oil/gunk free for a change...

My car pulls like a train! Plus the huge IC sticks out and catchs alot of headturns and raised eyebrows.. (love it)

All in all, for the ~$750 I spent on these three mods, I feel
Like I have a whole new car.. Looking for LOW 12s this coming weekend >=)

For what it's worth

Ryan,

Im not Mike, but Ive had my car for about a year, and have been lurking these forums for atleast 2 years.
Bang for buck mods: Jb4, Bms dual cone intake, and some catless downpipes.
Thats all youll ever need, anything else is just if you go to the track or like to do continuous pulls(intercooler)
As for what downpipes are: They replace to factory catalytic converter(part of the exhaust) which makes your exhaust flow a lot better and gives you more power.
jb4-479
dci-95
raceland downpipes-200
Just buy those 3 and youll have a very fast car

thanks for the info! I wont be doing track runs, just daily driving.

Do the downpipes require a visit to the shop or is it a DYI type of thing? if it does need shop work is it pretty simple or costly?

Thanks

also, any estimates as to the HP, low end torque, and 0-60 times after adding the JB4 Tune with Dual intake and Downpipes?

Again, I'm not going to be doing track runs or anything, just curious

Learn how to before you get flamed, but here's the thread compiling dyno chart numbers.

You should definitely get a dyno done, I'm curious to see how much power your pushing.

In anycase, the meth injection & good tires will get you close to 11s.
