muffler/ dp install cost?

how much should a muffler installation and down pipe installation cost? I am in SoCal btw...

Also, where have you guys gone?

Most people I know have paid around $200 for DP install. I'm just going to do it myself.

For cutting and welding on new mufflers, I paid $50 at a local muffler shop - albeit a little sketchy, I supervised and they did a decent job.

I paid around 150. Tried myself, but there just wasnt enough space for me to do it

$300 is an average price for dp install. If you're getting it any cheaper you're getting a deal.

I think it was like 250 for DP.
For the exhaust, its hard to beat Mike's Mufflers , also in El Monte. I have known Mike for 20 plus years and he is honest, does fantastic work, and is fairly cheap.
