How did you manage to get the locking clip out with the large connector still connected to the ecu?

Reason why I ask is that the locking clip on the large black connector is a two stage lock. So you have to have unlocked the large connector before pulling out that clip.....

Make sense?

I had to use a small flat head to get my clips loose when installing the procede.

So is the connector all the way on or just half way?

I'm sure you've already tried to wiggle it fairly hard to try to get that connector out, no?

lift the ecu up out of the box a bit, use a flat head screw driver wrapped in a rag to pry the slider a bit

Try pushing it back in a little, wiggle it, and try to pull it out.....

Why did you remove the slider? The slider has a track that lifts the connector while you slide it out. Can you put the slider back in?

Are you saying the large ECU connector will not pull UP vertically or that the subconnectors will not slide out horizontally??

The large ECO connector should pull out vertically now that the clip is out. It is no big deal to remove the clip. I have done it many times.

As for the subconnectors you need a small screwdriver to move the small tab on the subconnector to the side to slide it out. Put some lateral traction on the wire loom as you move the small tab to the side and it should slide out to the side. Watch Shiv's Procede install video to see what I mean.

Watch from 1 min:37 sec and he describes it well.

Good luck
