How did you manage to get the locking clip out with the large connector still connected to the ecu?
Reason why I ask is that the locking clip on the large black connector is a two stage lock. So you have to have unlocked the large connector before pulling out that clip..... Make sense?

So is the connector all the way on or just half way?
I'm sure you've already tried to wiggle it fairly hard to try to get that connector out, no?

Are you saying the large ECU connector will not pull UP vertically or that the subconnectors will not slide out horizontally?? The large ECO connector should pull out vertically now that the clip is out. It is no big deal to remove the clip. I have done it many times. As for the subconnectors you need a small screwdriver to move the small tab on the subconnector to the side to slide it out. Put some lateral traction on the wire loom as you move the small tab to the side and it should slide out to the side. Watch Shiv's Procede install video to see what I mean. Watch from 1 min:37 sec and he describes it well. Good luck |
