Dp Active 3'' Ar Design Cp-e

I am interested in dp catless, between active 3 " and ar design 3 ". They said to me that really the ar design is equal to the CP-e, and ends in 2.5 ". Is it true?
There are differences between active and the ar design?

Not much different. Most people on here have AR design DP's for the quality and fitment.

All 3" pipes taper at the end as they have to in order to mount to the stock exhaust system. ar design is definitely a #1 seller for me and with most guys on the forum. AA is pretty good as well. They are newer to the DP game here.

You can PM me and I can explain more and we can see what best fits your needs and budget.

Well if it has to bolt up to a 2.5 inch piece of pipe, it would be physically impossible not to taper down to 2.5 inches and still fit properly

Why are you deciding to go catless?

I have read that catted really doesn't provide much advantage over stock.....is this true?

I decided to go catless because i want more power. I have read you still make good power over stock with catted but you get the most possible power from catless downpipes.

Catted DP def help, but if your going to pay for DP you mine as well go catless, especially if your already down there doing the work. The only thing I would think about is maybe adding some resonators in the pipes, clean up the sound a touch without sacrificing performance.

+ 1... no point paying for catted pipes when catless is where the fun is at

I would ask a berkeley nudist which one they prefer. Personally, wife went to bezerkley and she would prefer AA for the reason that you run them and you're from there.

I would say go with AR b/c they fit, they work, and, on this retarded site, people want badges and don't care about doing research to save money. If a vendor - let's say M -dbag - bargains - copies and pastes the ten best reasons for XXX exhaust - well - the noobs that have no clue will read and jones!

Personally, in the case of AR - if you part out your car - you can at least sell them quickly for a price that gets something back on what you pay = same goes for the other great brands, AE, AST/Swift, any LSD, V5, the list goes on.

Good advice - buy something not for how much it costs - but - for how much you think people may want to pay for it / vs. how much you paid initially when you need to sell.

I can go off - but a lot of people have ADD and I'll probably have to bring this up multiple times....

is there any benefit to putting DP's with the stock exhaust system? I wanted to keep the stock exhaust but was wondering if I should upgrade the FMIC or the DP's first. I'm more interested in better throttle respond than more raw power.
