Boost Leak

Well I was cleaning up my baby today and snapping some pictures for a friend when I saw that one of my Forge DVs didn't look fully seated. I was messing with it thinking that it just wasn't locked in and when I couldn't get it I decided to take it out and investigate.

When I looked closer it looks like one of the clips is broke off. (I am hoping blown out and not down in my motor somewhere) So heres my question, I was hitting 13.9 lbs of boost when I logged a few days ago and if I was still hitting those levels with this leak what is the worst case scenario?

I don't plan on driving her until I get a new charge pipe. Thanks for the input.

I had the same thing happen. There are two clip heads that hold the stock inserts in place. I drove for almost a year like that with no real issues. I like to use wire ties to hold DV in place by wrapping two ties around the charge pipe and over the DV.

Then, one day, I took out my charge pipe and used some epoxy to fill the whole where the clip used to sit from the out side of the insert tube, with DV in place. I let it dry and now I have a new clip head that works perfectly in place. The very bottom of the DV is the only place boost flows, so there are rubber o rings in the charge pipe that keep them from leaking, even if you only have one clip. The key is to keep it pushed down in place.... thats where there wire ties come in.
