Are exhaust leaks bad ? Why ?
So I noticed some exhaust leaks on my BMW Performance Exhaust, at the clamps. Probably I should of tighten them out again after a few hunderd miles from installing it. All the leaks are after the second catalysts. I plan to tighten them when I install my new 3" downpipes.
Is this a bad thing ? The car runs perfectly. But just wondering... |

No. It just has a much stronger affinity for heme than O2. Which is why after suffering from carbon monoxide you need pretty much pure 02, and why people can survive carbon monoxide poisoning.
