Figured if there isnt a thread for people to talk about their facebook stuff might as get one going.

ill start by saying .... WTF is up with people and facebook.

I can not beleive at how much bullshit drama and lies goes on because of it.

I could not take it anymore and deactivated my account and now everyone thinks i am some sort of out cast and needs counseling LOL..

Am i the only person who just thinks that facebook is way too immature and taken too seriously for the masses to handle?

i think facebook ruins so many relationships. Girls love it but they create tons of problems and drama on there


Ill give you a story. Some guy tried to tell my GF i was cheating on her by taking one of my picture off my facebook and photoshoped my face on another dudes body who was hanging out with a bunch of girls at a bar to get her to break up with me.

If i want on Facebook none of that could of happened. (if people are wondering what happened, well nothing happened because it didnt make sense) but i was just shocked at the effort that people will go through with facebook and starting shit

and that wasnt even the reason why i quit facebooking

I hate (OK, "Dislike" ...Better?) when people post lyrics of a song to make themselves sound cooler or more intelligent than they really are.

Funny thing is that most are from rap/ hip hop songs with words like "bitch, hoe and money" which do not help much in that regard

I read an article recently saying that young people where more and more leaving Facebook because of old people getting on it, especially there parents, and they didn't like it.

My parents aren't on it, but my aunts are. I told them straight up to their faces that if they did ask me to be friends, I would reject them.

Facebook pretty much went straight down hill when it left the academic community and opened itself up to all the old people and morons.


I have doctors at my school who add me and I give them complete limited access and pretend I dont post anything. I learned my lesson after posting jokes during his lecture, and then watching him comment on them later in the day. Unfortunately, they were about his lecture.

so couple of weeks ago i disabled my account. i dont need it. i dont want it. within minutes my phone was blowing up with "wtf happened to your facebook account, man?"

are you kidding me? i haven't logged in in months, yet as soon as i turn off my stupid account people notice? what. the. fuck

exactly... its just ridiculous... that is the exact same situation here. its as if its a part of you and once you deactivate it people wonder where you are but never really cared when you were on, its totally backwards
