Question Which downpipes?

I really want to get a set of downpipes. Most people seem to go with AR Design but they are the priciest at $729. Macht Schnell's are $600 w/free install at EAS ($200+ value i'd say?). A local shop recommended Active Auroworke at about $650.

Most people probably won't be able to say which is the best but are any of them outright bad?

I received my Active autowerke DPs a couple of days ago, waiting to get some for the install. Thought ill show you some pics

(P.S the small crease you see on the right pipe is not a defect, its for clearance... Plus the light is making look much worse, its barely noticeable)

We sell a set of downpipes with a flex section incorporated. If you have time check them out on our site.

Thanks!

I like the downpipes with that bracket in to the factory mounts. Good idea. Although, I can't remember which company it is.

I've heard nothing but good things about AR, but agree it's pricey.

I went with Macht Schnell. Didn't install them yet, but AR design are not worth the price. For $120 less than a basic AR set I got a set of 3" thermal coated Macht Schnells.

Aridk,

They are in stock - am not sure what the issue is. I have sent Lutz an email just now, they should be in touch shortly.

We didn't want to build a full exhaust system with no flex... The exhaust would be prone to crack with engine vibration.

Thanks!
