jb3 1.4 pnp questions

What up guys im a newb to bmw , im buying a jb3 1.4 pnp and do i need supporting mods for this and also my car is auto so will it serve it purpose or just waste of money?

um you're about to get swarmed with "search" buttons but no you don't need any supporting mods and get a jb4 not jb3 and yes it will transform your car.

If you're going with a JB, get the JB4 unit. I would also consider the Procede pnp and the COBB flash.

Might as well get a current tune...

The JB3 1.4 doesn't need any supporting mods and is happy to run on a completely stock car (This is most users).

You can always upgrade it to the JB4 now or later as we offer an industry leading upgrade program.

for the jb3 1.4 how much hp and tq you gain from this on a completely stock car

It will transform our car. Once you get it look into upgrading to the latest version of the JB. Stick to map 3 and your stock car will be just fine.

how do you determine which map to run? I believe there like 7 maps?

If your car is stock you STAY in map 3 until you get supporting mods that will allow you to safely run higher maps. email BMS for more info. or search the many forums.
