Instant or disc? I find myself getting addicted to documentaries. Exit Through the Gift Shop was great. I just watched The Cove. Vice Guide to Travel about North Korea and Liberia were both fascinating.

Isn't netflix kind of a waste of money? With hollywood cockblocking the movie sites from getting new releases and the amount of streaming content on the web... Why spend the money?

Yeah. But I rather watch new movies.

I signed up for the amazon prime (free for students). I need to check it out as apparently amazon now has streaming services.

Not included with the free for students prime. Oh well. eff that.

I have the online stream only option. think it's like $8/mo or 9. I'll admit its a little waste of money but at the same time I have it available on computer/PS3/hopefully android soon. I agree they need to expand their movie/show database. I hate how they rotate their content. I'd be willing to pay more money for a full movie database.

AMAZON PRIME IS THE SHIT! I always buy from amazon since I got that free 2 day shipping. Will also look into their stream services.. may be worth pursuing.

Survivors

It's a BBC show, I highly recommend it. I've watched halfway through the first season, and I'm hooked .

I think you can get a free few day membership to the streaming portion of prime. I think the problem with online streaming IS all the competition. Its not that they all want to out do each other its that they all want to steal each others content and have sole rights to it. Which sucks, because there is no one awesome streaming site. Amazon, Hulu, Netflix, etc. all have potential but they all lack content and nobody provides everything.

My room mate has netflix on the ps3 and I've used it maybe twice. I rather reach for hulu, regular tv, or DL shit, before using it. I think theres a future for it but they need to combine or learn share.
