will this Sirius radio module work?
So I bought this module off Ebay a while ago and never had the time for the dealer to do an update on my car and fix the fiber optics. The module is BMW 65.12 9142850-01 A1:01 GEN2.5 335
The dealer SA said that if the module doesnt match the car, the update will be useless and I would need to purchase a new module. The update costs $400. I dont want to buy another module. I have an 07 BMW 335i. It is an 06 build date. This module supposedly came off a 2007 BMW 335i so im not sure. My SA wont tell me anything, I have asked them. |

Did you check realoem against your VIN and see if it was on the list of part numbers when you pulled up the satellite radio module?
I wouldn't see why it wouldn't work. Do you have Sat Radio prep on your car? Check the connectors in the trunk and make sure they match up. |
