"Boost Juice"?

tried to but came up empty for what I was looking for.

Gonna be installing a CoolingMist kit with a CMGS on a FBO JB4 car. Trying to determine what mix to use, but I seem to be reading different reviews.

For reference, the car stays on the street 99% of the time, with very little to no track time. I was originally planning to run Boost Juice from Snow Performance (49% Meth/51% Water) on a CM7 nozzle, as I want the easiest and safest mixture/setup for daily drivability and maintenance. I've also seen people mixing boost juice with HEET (yellow bottle) to up the meth content, and I could potentially run this through I guess an CM10 nozzle?

I don't want to go through the hassle of mixing my own meth as my VW and Audi friends do (call me lazy), as I go to school in VA, live in CT, and often visit friends all over the place in MD, NC, ETC. I'd hate to have to have to buy canisters of meth at both my houses, as having highly flammable stuff in a college house doesn't sound like en excellent idea. My thoughts were basically to order a case of the boost juice and a few things of heet and just premix them so I could essentially just fill the meth tank when it got low, saving the steps of mixing, etc.

What do you more knowledgeable users think?

Zach

boost juice is decent, alex uses it but add's heet or straight meth to it to keep it around 70/30

don't run straight meth or anything really over 80% because its such a high flash point

if you get your hands on straight meth, pour a little on the ground (not near anything) and light it up, the lighter don't even have to be touching the 100% to ignite it

now do the same with the boost juice or 70/30 and you'll see its harder to light

custom / gay lol

I wanted the shortest run possible, zip tying and double sided tape to the master cylinder was at most a 4" hosing run.........BONERIFIC. oh and the HFS6 is the shizzlebombdizzle of meth systems.

I just had coffee

old FCM location required an almost 24" run, current setup is much better

IMO your better off purchasing a 5 gallon can of meth and mixing your own 80/20 w distilled water. Much cheaper and more potent.

I run 100% often with zero issues (40 gallons total) but with no meth source as the track closed I run 65/35

Nothing wrong with boost juice but in reality half of what your shipping is plain old water.

I would much rather someone find a local place selling VP M1 meth or similar and mixing their own with distilled.

The cost benefits would outweigh any trouble IMO.

I personally run about a 90% mix with a splash of water just to keeps things in check.

What are you using? Straight meth and mixing it?

Does anyone just use denatured alcohol from target? I would rather use something that I can buy local.

alright Kev, looks like I'll do that.

I'm about to order some CM10's,is there anything else I need to order based on the stuff you guys uninstalled from that kit? (And considering you and alex will be reinstalling it in my car come June)

I'll have the kit Thursday, and he's sending me a new tank as soon as they get back in stock from coolingmist. I keep hearing stuff about upgraded fittings and stuff.. I just want the safest setup I can have overall so I'll upgrade whatever needs to be!

PS do you guys have the spark plug tool too? I was planning on changing em right around then anyways...

thanks for all the input guys

You will only need one CM10. Also, there will be no need to upgrade the fittings, CM told me they now use all metal fittings.

Denatured alcohol is pretty expensive at like $12-15 a gallon usually.

I upgraded my personal car to the CM metal fittings as well.

Are they much better than your previous fittings?

Considering my previous fittings were leaking, I would say so.

I tell you though I really like the metal fittings. The engagement of the fittings when they lock onto the tubing is more precise. You literally feel it snap in and lock. Just more assurance your fittings are locked in. I upgraded a few people already.
