Hail Damage

Hi ya'll!

So my 1 year old car suffered some pretty extensive hail damage on Sunday. Took it to Allstate for the estimate and they are replacing the hood and doing Paintless dent removal on the rest of the car. I'm not too fond about the PDR, but I'm going to take it to a BMW certified body shop to have it fixed. The roof is worse then the hood that they don't want to fix, so I'd like to have it done right.

My question is, will the M3 hood fit my e90 LCI? I want to replace my hood and front clip with something different. Will this be easy to work out with the body shop? Also has anyone had PDR done on their car?

Thanks for all of the info. I'm so happy that I found this place!

Do they make a replica hood with a powerdome? I'm sure there's one or two out there.

Thanks for the reply's!

So should I push for replacement panels, or give the dent removal a shot?

Is it going to be a big deal to have the body shop install an aftermarket hood with the OEM hood $$ that the insurance is providing?

I have had PDR done (door dings) and honestly, the guy fixed the panels to laser straightness, you would have had 0% chance of knowing there was ever a ding there. As far as hoods, this is an excellent time to upgrade. Do it.

PDR is actually really good but why in hell would you want to put an M3 hood on a 328???Posing isn't cool plus it's like tipping off your insecurity
