Wheel badges..
Hi all
Would like to change the centre caps on my wheels as they are getting a bit scruffy, How do you remove them and refit them ? Are they just glued on ? Oh and where is the best place to get them from ? thanks |

They should just clip in/out. Widely available through dealers, eBay etc

A screwdriver will mark your wheels. Take the wheel off and push it out from the rear of the wheel. They come out easily enough by hand but do take your wheels off to do this. No idea re OEM/replica centre caps. |

Not sure what the quality of reps is like.

If they're reps they're probably gonna be a BMW Emblem sticker ona plain centre cap. Take the cap off as above and then remove the emblem from the cap. Plenty on eBay, just order the correct size and one that looks half decent quality!

I replaced two of mine as they were looking scruffy and I drilled a small whol in the centre of each one and put a small screw in to the hole and then used pliers to pull them out...easy

To remove old ones, I usually lightly spray them with silicone spray lubricant until they can move around when you twist them, whilst in the wheel. Then use a small but strong suction cup - job done and no wheel removal required!

Holy Moly - whats that?
Not even 1/2 a tank of juice - and they last for years. Get 'em bought. BTW - super sticky duct (gaffer) tape is what I used to pull my centre caps out. stick it on. twist left and right to loosen them and them PULL. easy. |
