Are these scratches fixable?

I've been looking around this section and I think I may have determined what my options are, but I figured I'd post anyway to get some opinions. I just received my new 2011 335i with M sport a little over a week ago. I had it parked in the drive way for the last 4 days until I can return my Infiniti. I came out yesterday morning to find my pristine car all kinds of scratched up behind the driver's door. Looks like my landlord hit against it with multiple trash cans since it was garbage day. The car was all the way at the top of the drive way behind the house, right next to where he keeps the cans when they're not in use. In your opinions, is this fixable without having to repaint half the car? It's the Le Mans blue metallic paint. Thanks guys.

BMW Touch Up paint + Langka

For similar types of scratches (but not as extensive) I have used BMW touch up paint to fill them in and then used the Langka blob remover to level them out. A final step is to use the PC 7424 with Meguiars M105 then M205 to polish.

The general procedure is to apply a good coat of the touch up paint base coat to the scratch. It is best to then wait overnight for it to cure (it does not work well to be hasty - I tried). Use the Langka blob remover combined with their blue plastic card which is wrapped a couple of time with a smooth cotton cloth (like a piece of good bed sheet material). Apply a bit of the Langka to the wrapped card and wipe the card back and forth to remove the excess paint. It will take a while. Don't rush it - you don't want to remove too much paint.

Once you have the scratch leveled out, use the polisher to further blend and smooth the area. A coat of sealer and/or wax will finish it off.

you arent going to remove those with compounding/polishing. Touch up will be needed, if not a bodyshop for a repaint. You might be able to blend some of them, MIGHT.

sucks to hear, sorry

for the most part, the top scratches looks the easiest to remove, but as for the ones at the bottom, like the others have suggested, some touch up paint and some polish should work for you!

sorry to see such damages to your car

another thing you are going to have to take into consideration when trying to remove those scratches with compounding/polishing is the amount of clear you are going to have to remove in order to do so.

Just something else to think about

Thanks for the advice guys. A nice portion of the reason to own a BMW is that the outside looks better than some of the competitors, not just that it drives better. This steals some of those points away since it's rather obvious from a distance. I'm going to get some of the touch up paint and see how that goes, if nothing else just to cover up the glaring white undercoating that's showing through on the 2 deep ones. As far as "Is your landlord an idiot", possibly, but it's an awful situation because we've always gotten along famously.

I think most of that could be polished out with a good rotary/porter cable. Might not get all of it but better than getting it repainted on a brand new car.

those look too deep to polish out. maybe on the lighter scratches you may be able to improve the appearance but on the deeper ones I see it won't work in my opinion. Best thing to do is to take it to a professional detailer in your area and let them inspect the damage
