Aero Lip - SoCal Dealers
I'm looking to order the Aero Lip for the E92 Coupe. What is the cheapest price you've received?
So far: Pacific BMW Part #: 51110414371 MSRP $385.00 Their price: $327.25 + shipping/tax Crown Auto (Out of state Mail order) Their price: $300.17 Shipping: Can't calculate without putting in an order Is there any mounting hardware I need to buy other than the Adhesive tape? (Around $13) Reference Part #: 82-69-0-408-866 Does anyone have any dealers they recommend for cheap parts? Any hookups? Thanks! |

MSRP is actually $479 or something like that
most dealers sell for $385 $325 is a GREAT price. Crown will not ship that part btw, I tried before ordering at a local dealer |

I'd prefer to get it locally. Thanks for the info about Crown not shipping the item. Ideally I prefer the OEM rather than a replica due to fit issues and worrying about that to be worked out. $325 vs. $250, the difference really isn't that large imo, I'd rather have the exact perfect fit. Paint should only be around $150 or so.
Aznshrek, look at Zoeb2s's sig for the pic. Anyone here order the OEM part at any local dealers? |

Plus you support BMW by buying the original OEM part rather than a knockoff. To me, the cost isn't that much for the lip anyways, but hey, it's your money.

yeah. but if your car is a daily driver and its lowered. chances are you'll go thru a few lips. i usually pick up the genuine part for the sides and rear but replica fronts.
a good bodyshop will still make the worse fitting kit look OEM... just alot more $$ spent.. lols. i would wait and give the replica lip a chance. |

hehe yeah stocking parts already. It's just something to make the time go by a little bit faster.
I've had lower cars than what my 335i will be, I don't have that big of a problem with lips, never have destroyed one *knocks on wood* |

Do you know if that's the normal price they give or did you get a discount for CCA or whatever? I've been looking around for a good price (guy at Santa Monica BMW thought you couldn't just buy the kit and I didn't feel like arguing). Do you have a paint shop that you would recommend?

Razor, that is PacificBMW's price online. PacificBMW offers some of the best prices on parts online.
Ironically, SterlingBMW gave me the same exact price and I am going to pick it up through them since I am local. It is not their standard price, it is a discounted price I am getting thru my SA because I bought the car there. Lip 327.25 + tax Adhesive - 10.xx + tax No shipping, I am picking the item up. |

Cool. I would probably pick it up from Pacific.
Let me know how your paint comes out as far as cost/quality. I need to find a good shop. |
