Whats the difference between these two? I'm looking for two new polishes, one heavier than the SIP and one in between SIP and 85RD.

M105 is supposed to have more cut than SIP. I ordered some M105 that should be here in a few days so I can compare it to my SIP. For something in between SIP and 85RD you could try Menzerna Final Polish.

Both are outstanding polishes that I list as medium to heavy cutting power that finish down like a light to medium cutting polish. So in short you get awesome polishing power with bare minimal haze, etc. The Menzerna Super Intensive Polish (PO83) finishes down just slightly better in my experiences and it uses diminishing abrasives. The Meguiar's Ultra-Cut Compound M105 uses non-diminishing abrasives and it has a bit more cutting power. If you have any other questions please let me know!

+1. Also, Menzerna takes a little extra work because of the diminishing abrasives.

Sounds good. The main reason I ask is because im trying to find something a little more abrasive than PO83. I've got some parts on the car that 83 won't touch, even with an orange pad. I thin I'll try some m105 and see how that goes. After my test results with menzerna PO85, im definitely sold on their products. The 85 & 83 will both be primaries in my collection of polishes. I'll see if the m105 is worth the addition to the collection. Thanks guys!

thats the lineup you should have!!!!

105 for heavy defect removal and fast
SIP for less damaged paint, yet still needing good amount of cut
203 for moderate defect removal/compound haze removal (will more than likely finish out well enough to stop there)
85rd for refining the finish and jeweling the paint for max gloss and depth/wetness

m105 gets stuff out that SIP wont touch in my experience. SIP however can finish down LSP ready on certain paints. I have both, use both, love both.
