Helix turbos and procede

Just had helix turbos installed. Question for shiv - if I have full bolt ons - what is best map to run. Is there a custom map for upgraded turbos?

There should be a 'upgraded turbo' folder within the Procede maps..........

with the helix just run the std. maps 3.30 . I do the same. Only RB turbos have a special map right now with different Boost control DC value. .

I will do a more detailed review later. Still trying to see what kind of max boost I can get. Having problems putting down power. I think traction control is cutting in too early. Seems much more agressive than my Dinan tune was (traction control intervention even with DTC engaged). Trying to progressively loosen rebound to see if I can get more grip. Hope I don't have a boost leak or have wrong spring in my diverter valve.

Thanks for the advice guys. Turned DTC off. Have an LSD. I need to see if the stupid Vishnu double traction control is on. I also have a very sensitive suspension. Small changes in rebound make a big difference. I may need to tweak to get more power to the ground. Yes there is a lot of power (and in this case a lot of torque creating the problem)

Man. You already have an LSD and you're still having a lot of traction problems? I'm jealous.

Get wider tires.

If you fully disable traction control, you have absolutely no intervention by the procede. The only time the Procede will intervene is if it detects a factory DME traction control event. At which time, it will temporarily lower its boost for that instant. This is desirable because not doing so would result in the Procede and DME "fighting" each other (one trying to reduce power output while the other trying to maintain it).

Calvin. Thanks for responding. I lowered the rebound on my shocks and that helped a bit (to get more traction). I also tried running in stock mode and had no issues whatsoever. In fact difference was dramatic. The proceed seems to really be intervening (and cutting boost) a lot. Any way to completely disable procedes traction control and just rely on dtc / dsc?

I assume that setting traction control at 100% will completely disable procede traction control in all instances and have me rely solely on DTC / DSC?

Correct. And with the current DIC beta maps, that feature is already disabled.

UPDATE: I found that weird behavior I was getting was due to improper map upload. I reinstalled firmware and maps and most issues seem to be resolved.

It may not be the traction control, but rather boost overshoots and corresponding throttle closure that feels like traction control. It happens alot on upgraded turbos if the maps are not correctly tailored to the new turbos, from what I read on this forum. RB turbos on stock map had this problem and they adjusted some wastegate springs or something which solved the problem. You may want to look into this.
