Need advice, eisenmann vs. remus race

So as the title states right now I am torn between two exhaust I will either end up with a remus race + mtech bumper+ dd rear diffuser or eisenmann race setup alone. I am looking for an aggressive exhaust and I am worried the remus will be to tame for my taste, does anyone have experience with the remus race on a n54? Also iv done my homework on the vendors who distribute them, does anyone have advise on who to choose?

The Eisenmann mufflers look a lot like many OEM mufflers, so I would think that they have more resources for research/manufacture/etc. I would go Eisenmann if it fits within your price range.

Interestingly enough, on the top end of the RPMs, Borla Race and Eisenmann sound almost the same. At lower RPMs the eisenmann is more throatier and gurgly, where as the Borla is smooth and precise sounded. I don't have one of just cruising and rev'ing, but I can make one if you would like.

Thanks for the input, I think I am going to go with the remus race I love the Eisenmann but I have mid pipes and in the future will go with AR catless. I dont mind the $3500 for my full system but i have heard it gets pretty raspy fully catless. Has anyone heard the side by side?

I'm kinda surprised not many people have the Akrapovic exhaust. It's only $300 more than buying an Eisenmann new.. Anyways, the Akrapovic is what I'll be rockin' by the end of the summer.

The Remus US Sound Race exhaust will give the N54 and N55 that deep, aggressive exhaust note you're looking for. Remember, Remus is the world's largest manufacturer of aftermarket automobile sport exhaust; I.S.O. 9001 and T.U.V. approved O.E.M. supplier to BMW, Mercedes, AMG, Porsche, Ducati, allowing them access to shared CAD files for fully automated quick and accurate fitment. As well, back pressure calculations and sound testing in a highly sophisticated audio dyno room. Our dyno results as an O.E.M. supplier must be accurate. Dyno results are 'bolt on' only, with no complimentary modifications. Here are a few sound clips of the Remus US Sound Race exhaust system in action for you to check out! We do also have the LAST Remus US Sound Race exhaust system in-stock in the entire US ready to ship out as well FYI !!!

Eisenmenn sounds amazing!
Remus isnt quiet, but comparing the two.... Eisenmenn gets my vote.

Remus Race is def. more tame than Eisenmann (I have owned both), but it is also MUCH more usable on a daily basis. You literally cannot have a conversation in the car with Eisenmann the drone is so bad. The white 335 in the above videos is my car, and that was before the exhaust was broken in, it definitely opened up after about 200 miles. Now I am fully catless with the Remus Race, and it is AMAZING. Very OEM like under regular driving conditions, but WOT it sounds ridiculous. (in a good way)

Which exhaust got higher pitch at high rpms on my N55?

I'm still deciding to get either Remus or Eisenmann too. I've changed my stock DP to iCarbon catless on stock exhaust and hoping it wouldn't be too loud with these new exhaust systems.

If you want to be obnoxiously loud with those DP's, get the Eisenmann. Otherwise get the Remus.

The Eisenmann race is simply obnoxious for daily driving and will most definitely drone. I've sat in and drove a car with the system and it was unbearable. The Remus Race exhaust has a more refined exhaust sound and note and it's what I'm going to be going with. What Alan said is correct as I did contact REMUS USA directly and they've told me that **********s currently has the last Remus US Sound Race exhaust in stock in the entire united states!!!!
