No Sound from Radio

Got in to the car this AM and there was no sound from the Radio, switched from the channel it was on and nothing, checked all stations and no sound on any, visuals were there, but no sound, unless the whole radio spectrum was down, I guess I have an issue.

Turned mute button on/off
Shutdown display
Turn car engine on/off

Anyone else have experience of this before?

Hopped in to the car 5 mins ago and mysteriously I have the radio back. Hadn't checked the CD or USB previous. Have to keep and eye on this as it ain't logical

Not particularly (only 24hrs) and it had a 3 hour run on Fri last. I had no warning lights re-battery and the radio stations visuals were on, just no sound (surely the whole thing would be off? Phone bluetooth worked fine). Tried both the radio volume button and the steering wheel multi-function buttons for volume, just in case there was an issue with either

Got in this AM at 7:00am - no sound
Parked up 7:00am - 10:00am
Turned back on at 10:01am and it worked

Strange

was it all audio or just the radio, i.e. parking sensors, sat nav etc.

My car did this once where all audio stopped, then a day later was working again.
