Need Help: Please Look

After a long night of studying last night, I got into my car, turned it on and the entire car started SHAKING really badly. I went outside and the exhaust was pulsating really slow and loud. The shift knob on my manual tranny was also shaking wildly. The yellow check engine light on the dash blinking. I felt like the car was about to die.

So I turned the car off and restarted it. Started up better. Gave it a few revs and the hesitation seemed to go away. I had my injectors and few pump replaced at BMW about a month ago, and I have about 30000 miles on my car. Only mod on my car is catless downpipes right now, NO TUNE.

Here are the codes:

p2f6c
p2c2e
p2c3e
p29f4
p29fe
p29d1
p29d2
p29d0
p29cc - (multiple cylinder misfire)

So here are my three major questions:

1) What could be causing this? Coilpacks, something with my DPs, injectors?

2) Is there any internal damage (due to the misfiring) done to my engine that I should be concerned about and should I have the dealer look for it when I take my car into service tomorrow morning?

3) My SA told me that as long as I didn't mess with my ECU or boost settings that my powertrain warranty would NOT be voided. $300 to uninstall my downpipes and another $300 to install would be ridicoulous. Has anybody here had major warranty work done to their engine WITH downpipes? Or does it give my dealer something to blame the engine problems I've been having on?

Thanks for all of your input!

This also happened to me. I think mine was the hpfp and/or VANOS but went away after software update.

Every dealer is different, but I would guess that if the problem turned out to be something substanial in cost, they would try and blame the mods and deny the claim. Some dealers are cool, but I personally wouldn't chance it. There are many people that have had repair work done with mods on, so thats not to say it doesn't happen, but everyone on here would simply be guessing (as I am) whether you would be ok or not. The only way to be certain they won't give you problems is to remove the downpipes and not worry about.

It just depends on how serious my car's symptoms are.. If they are then it's worth if for me to remove them (even though my dealer said exhaust mods are ok)

Most problems stem from the following:

Spark plugs
Coil packs
Injectors
HPFP
LPFP
Vanos Solenoids

Based on the fact I had my fuel pump/injectors replaced about a month ago, is it likely that the spark plugs, coilpacks or vanos is defective?

How concerned should I be about damage done to my engine by the misfires?

I wouldnt say much if any damage is done as this is common characterstic of this car once those items begin to fail.

Usually after about 25K you should replace your plugs.

What are those codes even for?

If the misfire is in one cylinder its likely a coil or spark plug.

I fits in multiple cylinders it can be spark plugs or fuel related.

Vanos is an entirely different symptom which I am not familiar with.
