Interior Cleaner

I understand that everyone has their opinion but I need a good interior cleaner for the doors and door sills. I have a beige / tan interior and its a pain in the ass to keep clean

Also I need something good for the seats because now the dark blue jean stains are starting to show.

I would recommend saving your money on the Sonax. A mix of your car soap, a little APC diluted properly and some nice brushing will stretch that dollar alot further.

For the interior, I would recommend the cockpit premium as a cleaner, but looking into optimums protectant for the leather and vinyl. It still leaves a factory finish, but in my experience using it(daily ) it seems to condition significantly better than 303 which I feel acts as a topcoat barrier in place of conditioning as well.

For leather, you can actually use a diluted woolite solution(because your leather is actually coated, not bare) and as long as you do a final damp pass with a clean towel to remove any residual cleaner, you don't need to purchase a leather product if your budget is capped. Otherwise Optimum protectant plus has a very light cleaner(enough to lift any residual film leftover from the woolite) which basically preps the interior for the protection and conditioning it lays down.

Hope that helps some(instead of throwing a wrench in the cogs)
Mike

A recommended 2-step interior clean and protect

1z Plastic Cleaner (Plastik-Reiniger) - an intensive, non-corrosive, non-acidic two-phase deep cleaner that removes grime build-up, scuff marks, bitumen (tar) and nicotine thoroughly and effortlessly with dust-resistant anti-static action. Use to clean armrests, door handles, shift knobs, vinyl seats, pedals, dashboard, storage compartments, tires, rocker panels, wheel wells, and etc. Water-based formula is biodegradable, formalin-free and environmentally friendly. Follow-up with a treatment of Iz Cockpit Premium

Iz Cockpit Premium – an interior care and protectant developed specifically for that original factory look. This is a treatment spray for all interior components including the dash, vinyl seats, door handles, trim, navigation screens, stereo head units, and clear plastic. It has very limited cleaning ability but it provides UV protection for interior materials. The gentle formula is water-based and free of oils providing a matte, original showroom finish. Non-slip finish allows for application on the steering wheel, shift knob and both finished leather and vinyl upholstery.

I am with you on the beige/tan interior i have that as well. Some years ago I had almost the same question to ask, but the I was introduced by a friend to steam cleaning and all my woes ended, what I do now is scedule a professional steam cleaning service for my car every month this gets rid of any stains that I can't remove. what I do when I fell like cleaning my self is that I use regular "Mothers" products as after the steam clean there is not much left to do.

Same here get steam cleaning done on your car, it might not come out fully in one go but doing it twice or maybe thrice will definitely lessen/remove the stain.

your should try "Blue Magic" its cheap and it cleans very well. You can find it at Family Dollar in the automotive isle. I use it to clean my beige interior and my tennis shoes.

Professional steamer with a clean towel over the wand works great but is pricey to buy one hence why most have a pro do it.
Either Leather Master or Leatherique work great as dedicated leather products. Once cleaned make a habit of wiping down your seats with a clean damp cloth at each wash, it literally takes 2 minutes. Diluted woolite works well if you do not want a dedicated leather cleaner as does properly diluted APC (probably somewhere in the 10:1 ratio). I'd use the woolite over APC as it's simply safer if you go this route. Cannot go wrong with 1z products nor the 303, simply outstanding products.
