start up noise
hey guys i just purchased a used 2007 335i coupe 6mt (cant stop driving it!). unfortunately i noticed that when I start and stop the car i hear a noise, kind of like an old fan rattling? do you guys have that too?

I think I have the same noise
I hear it only on startup or when I turn the car off. And if by mistake the engine is about to stall (manual trans). Seems to happen at very low toms. Kind of a clunking noise, right. Mine is definitely not the exhaust flap. I told my SA, they kept the car for two days and couldn't figure it out. But they assured it's nothing dangerous... If someone knows what this is please chime in

i had that same exhaust flap noise at startup, turns out my waste gates were bad, so BMW installed new wastegates and 2 brand new turbos
