Next Bi-Monthly Meet.

RAVI@Audizine:

This is an ALL EURO meet. I am sending this invite to all european cars, (audi, vw, bmw, mercedes benz, mini, ferrari, porsche, lambo, ect). Please behave and respect each and every person at the meet regardless of what race their car is. Audizine and I are not responsible for any wrong doings at the meet, come at your own risk. This meet was set up to check out other EURO cars from the Bay Area and to meet other car enthusiasts. I know Bimmerfest is the week after, so this will give all the BMW guys a chance to represent in NORCAL before they head off to SOCAL. The original link to this meet is HERE.

This meet will be held every 2 months. In February we had a huge turn out of 141+ cars!

Anyone and Everyone is welcome, but we shall keep the parking lot with the euro cars to be all EURO. If you have any questions feel free to email me at ravib@mail.com.

Note: Please be respectful and do NOT be revving your engines @ the meeting location. The freeway is minutes away, so you are more than welcome to leave and take a buddy for a ride in your car or do whatever.[/SIZE]

^ Not to offend the Japanese car market out there, but I do believe that police profile fixed up Japanese cars as ricers and for that reason they end up getting ticketed more often.

I've witnessed it first hand from driving my Prelude, compared to the e90. I used to get pulled over for the stupidest stuff in my Honda, but in my e90, it seems like they just look past me onto the next ricer.

Same here, all my friends who own Japs tend to get that harassment. I didn't bother since like them everyone of them has gotten thier cars burglarized. The insurance was high and it wasn't worth it. I started my first brand new car as a VW and never had those strange random stops. I moded the car too with the whole intake and exhaust along with after market body kit and lights but it wasn't as loud as your typical ricer. Now I stepped up, I still do not get the police "generosity". I do seem to notice the car makes it easy to speed and not notice how fast you are going. So I had more tickets than usual.

I've witnessed it first hand from driving my Prelude, compared to the e90. I didn't bother since like them everyone of them has gotten thier cars burglarized. The insurance was high and it wasn't worth it. I started my first brand new car as a VW and never had those strange random stops. I moded the car too with the whole intake and exhaust along with after market body kit and lights but it wasn't as loud as your typical ricer. Now I stepped up, I still do not get the police "generosity". I do seem to notice the car makes it easy to speed and not notice how fast you are going. So I had more tickets than usual.
