Any one installed Euro Blacklines?

I can see from the various threads that blacklines are a very popular mod. I do think they improve the look of the car and would like to make this change when my car arrives.

I also saw that the euro version tail lights have an amber turn signal (which I prefer for both safety and design reasons).

I wondered if anyone in Canada had installed euro blacklines? Are they readily available? Street legal in Canada? Do they fit the 335i sedan?

Any info much appreciated (I won't get my car for 6 weeks but I am already thinking of changes...I never was like this before... this site gets you going!)

If you read the comprehensive blacklines FAQ sticky, you'd know that all blacklines are standard. There are no euro or us regional variants.

All blacklines emit amber signal lighting, one of the reasons why they're so popular here, and they're DOT legal.

I have my blacklines but I haven't recieved my car yet. I will take delivery 13th April. The blacklines will be installed in the following week.

P.S. I have an E91 coming not an E90.

euro blacklines? not sure what you mean but blacklines are blacklines....there is a difference between euro oem and NA oem. euro oem has amber signals as opposed to NA oem which blinks red. blacklines all blink amber/orange. i have blacklines on my car and you are welcome to have a look anytime...e90 blacklines will fit any e90 car...so yes they will fit your 335i sedan

Thanks for the reference to the comprehensive thread KL2DC. I still haven't seen a BMW in Toronto with the blacklines, but now I know what to look for.

If I haven't seen one by the time I am closer to delivery then I will take you up on your offer ctgazer. Thanks to all.

I've actually never seen another one in Toronto (aside from mine of course) with Blacklines either. I know people have them from pics on this forum, maybe I've just been in the wrong places or something.

If you're going to order them I highly recommend Morristown BMW, they were about $160US plus $20 for shipping and no duty/taxes.

i havent seen them either.,...maybe if we all get together, we can see all the blacklines that there actually are in toronto (very few)...

I'll be up for a Toronto meet in the next month or two, just had a kid at the beginning of March so pretty busy lately. Plus I need to get my CSLs on first.

Yeah...besides very likely that the person you DO see that has blacklines...is also likely an E90post'er.

+2 I never see blacklines outside of our meets...all save one instance, there is a monaco blue E91 with blacklines tooling around my area. Must be at least an avid lurker of these forums
