Tireless Design? Real or not?
Received an email with the description below, seems plausible though my first thought was what if you hit a crazy ass pothole. Seems all too often I am dodging crevices in the earth left and right especially in Michigan. Though that one picture shows the flexibility of the fins, I still think an abrupt shock to it may snap it. LMKWYT.
See through tires! These tires are made in South Carolina, USA. A radical new tire design by Michelin. The next generation of tires. They had a pair at the Philadelphia car show. Yes, those are 'spoke-like’ connection fins to the inner part of the tire from the outside tread 'wrap!' The next picture shows how odd it looks in motion... These tires are airless and are scheduled to be out on the market very soon. The bad news for Police and other law enforcement is that stinger spikes will not work on these. However, just think of the impact on existing technology : A. No more air valves... B. No more air compressors at Gas Stations... C. No more repair kits..... D. No more flat tires... E. Less expensive and more money in the drivers pocket. (Pictures taken at the South Carolina plant of Michelin).

It's real. I feel I need to add that it is not a 'tire'less design. But rather a tire that does not need to be inflated. It is still a tire that offers grip and suspension qualities though.
