Question Detailed my car but still have wax left and cant remove it, what should I use?

Hey guys, I just detailed my jetblack e92 few days ago and I put it in the sun and saw some white spots left on the side of the car which I cant wipe off with quick detailer.
Whats a good product to use to get rid of the remaining wax? thanks

If you still have wax remaining, that usually means that you applied too much. You should be able to get rid of it by buffing the excess wax out with a mf towel.

Btw, if you can't buff it out, try alcohol diluted with water. This will take off any wax on the area that it's applied on, so you'll have to rewax the portion that you sprayed.

Rewax the affected area. The solvents will loosen the residue underneath so that it can be easily removed.

Any Quick Detailer will help take up the extra wax.

Marc is spot on. And chances are its probably the fastest method compared to scrubbing with QD and towels potentially marking the paint.

Just be sure the area is clean so you dont wipe around any dirt or grit.

You just want some Isopropyl alcohol (aka IPA, rubbing alcohol). It's available at any grocery or drug store.

If you use an IPA wipedown please use the correct dilution so as not to harm your clearcoat if it dwells on there. Safest bet is to rewax the affected areas. Most likely you did not apply thin enough.
