Needed new tires, wound up with so much more...
Took my car in to have my tires replaced, and when I got home to clean them, I noticed this on the front right wheel.
Also, they didn't remove the gunk that held on the balancing weights, and I tried to get that off by hand. That's painful to work off... What would you do? Take it back, argue that they need to clean the gunk off? Replace/repair the wheel? |

they're not going to do anything once the wheel leaves the shop. even if it is in the shop, they usually have some bullshit disclaimer about not being responsible for any damage on custom wheels. you're probably out of luck in this department
the gunk is being a little nit picky. just spray some goo gone on it and rub it off |

Thanks for your insight.
I called them up, and they said they have a person they can send it to and get it taken care of. I was surprised. Hopefully it will turn out well. |
