i just love my e90 but i also loved my 735i e32 that i had, and i can also see that some of you people park your e90 beside your wifes x5, so i can see that some are just bmw fans no matter what bmw it is.

Both.

BMW hooked me as a child. I don't think I'll ever drive anything else, and if I do - I'll be sure to always return to BMW.

On my third one, and I've only been driving for 2 years!!!

Yes, this is my first bimmer, but you know what they say about first impressions. I think I'll be loyal to BMW for life, just as long GM doesn't buy them out!

Ever since that test drive it's like there's this new feeling inside of me.
It's like that Porsche Cayenne commercial, anyone seen it?

"It's like we were meant to be...everytime we're apart..."
"Yeah, yeah, honey, I know you like it"

haha

I wasn't a fan of BMW's old styling. I thought the old cars looked rather boxy and uninspiring. And then came the Bangle era, and although some people don't like the new styling, I LOVE it.

I actually hated the the old look of the E46. I prefered the A4. It got to the point where I would bash my friends who loved BMW, saying what ugly cars BMWs were. And then they redesigned it and came out with the new E90 - I instantly fell in love. I had seen a remarkably accurate photoshops of it in a German magazine (when I went to Germany last year) and was determined to buy one.

However, I only like the new 1,3,5, and 6 series. I actually don't like the ackward lines of the Z4 and 7 series, which ironically, were the only two cars that Bangle actually designed. All the other ones were designed afterwards. Even the E90 was drafted by some Japanese designer. So in the new Bangle-era, I like all the cars that were not directly designed by Bangle. Does Bangle even work for BMW anymore?

So I guess I'm a "new-age-post-Bangle" BMW fan

Guess that means I'm a Bimmerhead. For the $ there's not many other choices (any?) with the combination of performance, style, and practicality.

I somehow doubt that BMW will become the German SAAB!!! Although it looks like SAAB may go the way of the Olds now that GM sold its stake in Fuji Heavy to Toyota.

GM is on the road to nowhere as far as manfacturing cars. GMAC is the only thing keep them afloat.

BMW fan in general. Actually, when the official images for the E90 were released, I hated it. Now, the look has somewhat grown on me, and when compared to other cars in the same market, there truly is no comparison. I've always respected all the performance aspects of every BMW though. I'm still more of an E46 guy though

The only other manufacturer I would buy from is Porsche, but I've heard some initial BMW owners, after buying a Porsche, eventually went back to BMW!
