TT 1/8th mile times
I have a 335 sedan, auto, non-sport w/ TT and the resonator delete.
It took a couple of runs @ Irwindale to figure out the launch and that I need traction control off, but I managed a best of 8.45 @ 84.15, 1.94 60' time. Runs were on the stock 17" run flats and 92 octane. Based on fuzzy logic it works out to around a 13.10 in the 1/4, not bad for $750 in mods. I think with a better cool down a super-lucky 1.90 60' it could break in to the low 8.30s as it sits. |

Good job, I think I saw you there last night. Did you have a white 335i and you were going against a yellow Mustang GT all night. Good job, I ran last night in my EVO IX RS, and got a 8.31@83.90 granny shifting each gear. Gonna try to powershift next time and get 8.0 or 8.1. Anyhow good job.

Not as good as you, but I think he was stock, I only got to see him run twice, and I believe both were in the 9s@80mph. Still not bad, good trap speed for being stock in my opinion.

Naw, probably wasn't me, only ran twice, a 8.5 my first run and then a 8.3 my second run and then I got kicked off for not having a helmet. It got stolen out my car. They left everything except the helmet, the bastards:mad:
335i is a very nice vehicle also, everytime I see them I gain more respect for them and I also appreciate that 335i owners aren't afraid to race their cars. I hardly ever see any BMWs at the strip, once in a while a M3 or maybe a 540i, but the 335i just came out and I see you guys taking it to the strip. |
