Temp Plates in Texas
So, I bought the wifes 350z in texas with expired plates from florida. The individual never registered it in Texas.
![]() Apparently the cops on this military base didnt like that here in Texas lol. They said I cannot drive it until its taken care of, so I wont. I will not be in Texas after I have finished my business here on this base. So I do not want to register it fully here in Texas. Can I get temp tags in texas at the local DMV for 2 months and does anyone know if I have to pay the full registeration fees or just a temp register fee. ![]()

ok temp plates are for 30 days and are 25 dollars.
They require insurance and thats it... NO inspection necessary. There is no limit as to how many times you can come and do it

Since when were temp tags $25? That's a fucking hose job. I can get you one for fucking free using Microsoft word. That's how all the hoods in Dallas do it.
