Swissvax'ed: The Shiniest Sapphire Black 135i you've ever seen, with Blau-Weiss wax!
This car was brought to me by Viral @Active Autowerke. He had just recently purchased the car. This car's previous use was registered as a cupcake delivery car for a bakery.
The car is a 2008 BMW 135i in Black Sapphire Metallic (447) with nearly 50K miles, and from the looks of it, had never gotten any "proper" detailing. We decided to give the car a single stage polish using Swissvax Cleaner Fluid Professional and a Swissvax White pad. We finished off the detail with Swissvax Blau-Weiss wax for BMW Paint systems. Products: -P21s TAW -1Z Blitz -1Z W99 -1Z Windscreen -Sonax Full Effect -#0000 Steel Wool Swissvax: -Car Bath -Protecton -Seal Feed -Paint Rubber (Yellow) -Quick Finish -Cleaner Fluid Professional via FESTOOL with a white Swissvax FINE pad -Blau-Weiss wax for BMW Paint Systems -Nano Express -Cleaner Fluid Regular -Autobahn PTFE Wax (Wheels) -Pneu Glossy -Waschpudel -Black Puck Applicator -Black wax applicator -Micro-Absorb (Red) -Micro-Polish (Blue) -Micro-Fluffy -Pneu Brush -Detail Brush -Wheel Brush -Metal Polish Interior: SV Leather cleaner + Milk SV Protecton Matt SV Cleaner Fluid Regular SV Wood Polish SV Leather Healer (Coming soon!) Here's how the car looked upon arrival The seals were very dirty and dried out. They were first cleaned using 1Z Blitz and treated with Swissvax Seal Feed The wheels and side skirts were very caked with grime. P21s TAW was used on the paint to loosen the grime. you can tell this car sat outside for a long time... the plastic pieces were very dry. They were treated with Swissvax Protecton the front bumper was full of bugs, we used P21s TAW to loosen the dried-on bugs. the engine bay needed some TLC as well. P21s TAW and 1Z Blitz were used to clean the engine bay While i worked on the engine compartment, Beni worked on the wheels. Here's the Sonax cleaner in action! After cleaning every single body crevice, the engine compartment, wheels, door jambs, and gas cap area; then protecting all the plastic and rubber exterior components, it's time for a safe, Scratch-free wash using Swissvax Car Bath and a Swissvax Waschpudel. After the wash, I started claying the exterior surfaces, including the glass, while Beni worked on the interior, giving the dried-out and dirty leather a much needed revival using the proper Swissvax interior care products. Here's how the interior looked before... Cleaning the leather The left side of the steering wheel had been cleaned, and the right side had not Back to the exterior... Here's how the Swissvax Paint Rubber was coming out after about 1/4 or the roof. Some before shots of the paint surface There were some serious scratches that i applied touch-up paint to Here's how the paint looked after correction The finishing touch The wood was treated with cleaner fluid and wood polish Final buff after allowing the wax to cure for 3 hours after the initial buff. Finished! That's all for that one thanks for looking! |

If you don't mind me asking, what is the learners curve on this? Like could someone who's only used the ol' 2 bucket method and carwash do this with a step-by-step or does it take some experience. Looks excellent! Very good job.
