Question Shopping list . . . not enough, too much or just plain overkill?

I've built my shopping list for my 2009 335i LMB with 9k miles. It has a clear bra (Venture Shield) on it so I'm not exactly sure what to use on it.

I've been a big user of OTC Mothers and Meguiers stuff in the past, but looking to turn it up a click. I'm not OCD (can't be when you drive 110 miles a day on the Beltway to work), but I do wash the car about once a week.

Okay, so here's the list:

EQUIPMENT-
Porter Cable 7424XP Random Orbital Buffer
DI Accessories Sheepskin Wash Mitt
Grit Guard Grit Guard Insert - BLUE x 2
DI Microfiber Waffle Weave Drying Towel
DI Microfiber All Purpose Towel x 10
Lake Country Snappy Clean Pad Cleaner x 10

WASH-
Optimum No Rinse Wash & Shine New Formula (ONR) - 32 oz
(Overkill? I have hard water, but would Mother's California Gold do the job?)

POLISH-
Step 1:
Menzerna Power Finish (PO203S) - 16 oz
Lake Country White Polishing Pad - 6.5 inch x 4

Step 2:
Menzerna Micro Polish SF 4500 (PO85RD) - 32 oz
Lake Country Blue Fine Finishing Pad - 6.5 inch x 4

WAX-
Poorboy's World Liquid Natty's Blue Wax - 16 oz
Lake Country Black Finishing Pad - 6.5 inch x 4

WHEELS-
SONAX Wheel Cleaner Full Effect - 500 ml

GLASS-
Stoner Invisible Glass - 19 oz

INTERIOR-
Leather:
Optimum Protectant Plus (Leather Protectant) - 17 oz

Other:
Einszett 1Z Cockpit Premium - 500 ml
(Overkill? Would the Optimum PP do the job on the other pieces like the dash?)

I've tried to find a place for Klasse AIO since I've read it works really well on our shadowline trim, but I don't know if I should buy a bottle just for that.

I know about claying and that is in there, but not part of my shopping list since I can get that OTC.

I also tend to pay for 2 professional detailings (claying, polishing and waxing) per year so the PO203S may be too much when I'm just maintaining in between. And as mentioned, what do I do about the clear bra?

Thanks for all your help.

You have your polishing steps in reverse, 85RD should come after 203s

Whoops. Nice catch. Sorry, there was a lot of cutting and pasting to put that post together.

Klasse AIO is good for the wheels as well.

I love the list and I can tell you've done some homework. The 5.5" pads are probably more ideal as BayMoWe335 suggested but you really can't go wrong with any size.

I like washing with the ONR especially if you have hard water, I've even used filtered water from my sink before to avoid water spots.

The Einszett 1Z Cockpit Premium and Optimum Protectant Plus (Leather Protectant) serve a similar function so generally speaking I'd probably just get one or the other. Both of them are fantastic so you can't go wrong either way.

The Klasse AIO can also be used after the polishes and before the Natty's Blue if desired. I use it on the on the smooth coated trim (i.e. the plastic/chrome trim), wheels, glass, headlights, etc.

For the clear bra I would only use a polish as light as the PO85RD on it if needed. Otherwise I typically just protect it with something like the AIO or the Natty's Blue would be fine as well.

Let me know if you have any other questions.
