Wastegate Actuator replacement
My car has been in the shop for nearly two weeks to have the wastegate actuator replaced. I called them up today to check the status, and they said they just putting the motor back in! They pulled out the engine out to replace the wastegate actuator.
Is that standard procedure for this repair? Pulling the engine out to get to the turbos? Sounds like overkill to me. |

had mine done at the dealership.... replaced the entire turbo... done with simply lowering the engine via engine mounts....
