My s****y luck

This year had been so shitty for me: a tumor in my left foot that had to be taken out and had major flesh removal. Then, I was off work for long time from work and had to file bankruptcy. When I finally was getting back on my feet financially got a hospital bill to pay off then after that was done came back to work and saved for a down for a car. I got my 325i and I was so happy then… driving home tonight got the oil pan and my bumper hit by a pipe that was loose on the freeway. I did stop fast to avoid engine damage and did check, so far the transmission seems ok. Waiting to call the insurance... I know there must be a lesson for me to learn here. Now, I am drowning my pain in coca cola, cheese puffs and chocolate! Is almost midnight and I can’t sleep.

Boys, I have it worse than you all! LOLOLOLOL!!!!!

Oh I don't know about that. You successfully had a tumor removed, you have a job and you drive a BMW. All in all, not too bad.

By next Thursday, I will have spent 4 grand on my car without any added benefit :/

Statistically speaking, you probably got your bad luck out of the way for a while. :-)

Go outside turn the engine on and rev it until it locks up. Then total it out, these days the blue book is holding rather high as well as the retail on a 325i has probably gone up a little at least in California. Then go out and put the down on a 335i get Meth and SMILE!!!!!!!!!(FYI the motor is most likely shot anyway and that will basically total it out if you didn't stop right away )

I did stop right away and did turn off the engine as fast as I could. I do think there is no damage, just the pan. Our cars is our family and it hurts, lol Today I will call my insurance agent to see what is what! I am ok now, will to work late and now I will go seat and have a nice breeakfast at a local joint and celebrate! At least is Friday!

I hate State Farm. They refused to auth the replacement of the Steering gear assembly due to the fact that their VISUAL inspection does not reflect any damages. Ok, how can they tell broken when all the stupid parts are inside of the unit itself. Furthermore, BMW show told state farm that is mandatory that the gear had to be replaced no matter what !!! When the car gets hit under the suspension and there is damaged BMW is obligated to make the car safe again and part of that is the replacement of the steering gear, not a fix a full replacement.

My plan to hit them back is on track. I have the Estimate, the letter form BMW explaining the replacement, maps of the area and all the bmw staff on my back helping me. I work for attorneys and I have one of them helping me. I will fight this until the end.

We need to end the Insurance Abuse no matter what!!!!
