What would you do if someone urinated on your 11 yr old daughter?

The New York Post has the head-scratching report on JetBlue Flight 166, writing "chaos erupted on (the airline's) red-eye flight from Portland, Ore., to JFK yesterday when a drunk allegedly urinated on a sleeping 11-year-old girl."

The incident came when an apparently intoxicated 18-year-old stumbled toward the lavatory but didn't realize he hadn't quite made it the whole way to the bathroom.

NEW YORK POST: Creep in jet stream; Midair 'pee' chaos

"I was drunk, and I did not realize I was pissing on her leg," the 6-foot-4, 195-pound Vermont man is quoted by the Post as saying to authorities. The newspaper says he told them he had eight alcoholic drinks, though the Post did not say whether the man had claimed to have had those drinks on the flight.

The girl's father, who himself was in the bathroom at the time of the incident, came back to his seat just in time to catch the man "midstream," the Post writes.

Flight attendants had to separate the men as the enraged father appeared to be on the verge of violence, witnesses tell the Post.

As if that wasn't enough for one flight, Flight 166 was beset with another incident.

The Post says another man on the flight began complaining about chest pains about an hour before the flight was to land. He eventually vomited, and -- after calls for a doctor on board went unanswered -- the flight crew did its best to clean up and comfort the man until the flight landed.

Six police officers met the Flight 166 when it arrived. Four officers were for the urinating teenager and two for the ill passenger. No update was provided on the sick mans' condition, but the 18-year-old was released after being charged with indecent exposure.

I would at the very least break his nose.

Wow what a flight.

But yeah, I would have killed the drunk kid, or tried to anyway. That's just insane.

I believe this kid was either on the U.S. Ski Team or enrolled in the U.S. Ski Academy. I heard on the news he was kicked off the team too. IDIOT!!!

Was on the Development team for US Ski and was dismissed. 5 or 6 beers and 2 rum & cokes makes you pass out and piss all over a little girl? I guess I drink too much as that would not have that affect on me.

at 31 years old i would have made some bad decisions - probably fought til the kid wasn't moving and/or breathing.

i would have paid dearly - probably would have lost a bit of money and put my family in a bind, but at that point fatherly instincts just take over.

you have a split second as an adult to make the right decision, but sometimes instincts outweigh any rational decision making.........

Drinking at altitude is much different than drinking on the ground. Your BAC is consistent. However, reduced pressure at altitude reduces the ability of the blood to absorb oxygen. IIRC, the cabin is pressurized for 8000 ft.

I dont think I would be able to control myself either, I had some cashier at Target reach over and touch my daughter when she was just a few months old, I almost broke her wrist. At the time it didn't occur to me that she was trying to be nice and make her smile, I just saw a hand and grabbed it.

Now if I saw this guy piss on my little girl I have no idea what it would take to keep me from beating him to death

these sitations are tough... any father will instantly understand and sympathize for the irrational actions you would commit at the moment. Its justifiable in court.... as long as you dont kill him or break more than 2 bones....

im a little dissapointed to hear this on jetblue airlines to be honest... I would expect this on southwestern, not jetblue.

this is why i dont drink........ i smoke
