jb4 question

Just installed my jb4 and raceland dp's (great fit by the way) and car feels great except almost feels like it has hesitation have tried map 1,3 and 5 and same and all maps also when barely have foot on the gas show like 8mpg on the onboard computer but shows to be making bout 13 to 14 psi max on any map.I have had several Ford Lightings so im very capable of knowing what detonation feels like the car feels great mid throttle nice and smooth only feels different when I hammer on it.No code or anything didnt even turn on auto delete on jb4 and car never thru a code with kittyless dps doing big Tom intercooler tomorrow just wanted to make sure dont have a problem before continuing the modding.

I would do some datalogs and check for codes via laptop, not the dashboard....

Punctuation also helps.....

Have you reset you adaptations?

And although its not an English board, decent punctuation helps us comprehend what you're saying. Its difficult to separate ideas when your sentences run into each other. We're just asking you to help us help you.

LOL....I didn't mean for it to sound like I'm a nazi professor. I just thought for myself, as well as others, will appreciate a well punctuated paragraph. That's all.....

Happy Modding!

Traditionally speaking this car will show its "weakest" links when tuned.

Namely: Spark plugs, weak High pressure fuel pump, coilpacks, or injectors.

What are the mileage on these items and when were the last replaced.

After 20K miles its always good to change plugs.

With higher mileage cars say 40K+ you may want to look into intake valve cleaning.

This post alone should be a sticky.

Set auto clearing also for dp fix.. and did you make sure your front o2 sensors are in the correct position after the down pipes were installed? that also will have runnability issues..

You want help? How about you insert basic punctuation and grammar to make your question easy to read.

If your too lazy to type legible sentences, then why should I bother to read it, or even reply for that matter. No one's requesting MLA format, just basic punctuation.

Great, you are asking for this forum to help you out and this is the return you give to the forum when someone politely asked you to punctuate so we can understand better so we can help? This isn't a Honda forum so get the f--- off!

Go fist myself?!?.. I didn't realize I was talking to an officer and a gentleman!

Yes, you are wasting your time here. I see a long, illustrious future here for you.

I work on my own car and I am literate... imagine that. We are here to help. However, if you insist in honoring your inbred roots.. then more power to you.

Actually, a few commas would also help, but whatever....

When people are trying to be nice and help you out by merely suggesting a few things. You shouldn't take it the wrong way man. Nobody on this forum is trying to put you down. So don't get so butt hurt about it....

In life, you live and you learn. It's pointless if you're just living and omitting the rest....IMO.

A more clairvoyant statement has not been made.

Look sorry I was a jackass yesterday was having a crappy day which is no excuse but just rubbed me the wrong way.Apologies to all I offended I am just trying to figure this car and when you guys say data logs I have never had my laptop hooked to car so don't know how to do that. The car feels great just don't understand what has happened since I installed the jb4 now even when I don't even have my foot on the gas pedal the car is showing like 30mpg on the instant fuel mileage calculator. If anyone can link me somewhere to explain how to data log that would be great.Again my apologies to everyone for being rude.

Apology accepted. I know myself as well as others have all had bad days. No sweat, let's just move on from that. I'm sure others on this forum including myself will still try to help out a fellow car enthusiast(spelling?).

Have you tried N54tech.com?

That site might be more helpful because they're all JB users....
