AWD works well and you'll need it in Jersey. I'd get the E92. There's nice Audis out there, but the A4 is so bland.

loaded a4 all the way. faster, MUCH faster with tune, better awd system. bmw would have better steering and more rwd character

also no sport suspension on xi. a4 I believe has that option. and torque numbers on tuned a4 are in 335i category...

and by the way b8 a4 used b7 s4 center differential with 40/60 split which is nice. I don't know if you have other options on a4s like u do on s models

i hear what you guys are saying but the thing is i value handling much more than speed. you really think the a4 will handle better than a 328xi?

its a huge 4door 3800lbs car

I never realized how cheap they were. Faster than a 328xi? I don't know about faster stock.

It will NOT handle better than a BMW. Driven and proved this myself.

OP: A better comparison would be B8 A4 2.0T vs E90 328xi. My vote goes to Audi in this case, and I think 90% of 335 owners would do the same.

When F30 2.0L Turbo comes out, it will give Audi the run for it's money. Looking forward to that.

i test drove an a4 with sport suspension, the steering is way to soft. i got a 335, but i would have bought the audi over a 328.

a4 manual weights the same as 328xi coupe, around 3600lbs. handling I don't know, 328xi lacks sport suspension and is raised up as I said. 328xi would probably be a bit funner in corners, but a4 would be easier to take to limits and therefore would handle better.... with sport suspension

don't know about b8, on b7 models there was a fuse that disconnects servotronic steering. power steering is still active and it solved soft steering problem. I think b8 models maybe only s4s have sport steering setting or something

Majority of the A4s that I see on the streets are driven by chicks. I just love the smooth inline six too much. 328i for me. Thanks.

- The e92 is going to look better than an A4, and is subjective vs. an A5. You can tune turbo cars much more though. Handling, no idea. test drive the two cars and see which one handles better.

Me personally, I would go with the e92, it looks MUCH better, and will probably be more reliable (the 328 is perhaps BMW's most reliable car), while the Audis are not great (though improving).

Do what I did and lease the 2011 335i xDrive e92

I had many many many choices...
Even an S4 would have been cheaper :P
But no, the 3.0 Twin Turbo!

LOL! My mother-n-law is in town, she is a 58 year old school teacher, she wanted to go test drive the A4. We went and checked them out. I have always thought Audi's are nice, and it was nice and drove great BUT looks a bit too much like the VW for me, very round/bubbly and bulky stance.
