Took a while but I finally found her!
After 3 months of searching I was able to find the rare 335xi coupe 6mt. I purchased from a member on here 'bmw-nj' about 2-3 weeks ago. Now I can finally stop my daily routine of checking ebay, searchtempest, bmw cpo car search, autotrader, swapalease, and e90post 'cars for sale' section.
Worst part is that I bought this car because I wanted to my commute from nyc to central new jersey to be a little more bearable and I just found out that I am getting rolled off this project and she's going to be mostly sitting in my driveway now (sadly I don't have a garage). Oh well I am going to enjoy her while I can and see if shes worth keeping a few months from now. Coming from a 97 Nissan maxima 5spd, this thing is night and day when it comes to handling and driving excitement except for the fact I can shift so much smoother in my nissan vs the bimmer. It's getting better but still not smooth enough(especially if my A/C is on). |

Congratulations. Nice find & it appears to have been well cared for.
Enjoy it on the weekends?

Nice car!! Those arevrare, huh! Around here the dealers have them available on a erg basis.... Though w sports pkg can be rare, prob due to our potholes... Non sport is better dd here. |

Looks like a beautiful car. I would have liked MT but it was hard to find a used MT and it wasn't a 'must have' option for me. I'm much happier having Navi than a MT - Navi was a 'must have'. Jeez, I'm old.

Good job. I was in the same boat for over a year.
I decided last minute to screw it and order the 2011

Congrats, I'm glad your efforts paid off to find a 6MT!
The transmission is not very forgiving, the clutch is very hard so you will be getting used to it for some time. You should most definitely look into getting the Clutch Delay Valve (CDV) deleted, it is a very simple mod and will get rid of the little bump between shifts. You shifts will never be perfectly smooth as long as that is present. Another simple mod is to get rid of those yellow side reflectors in the front, you can get paint matched ones that will make the car look a lot cleaner. Enjoy
